Since June 16th 2011, Citizens lving in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xiamen will be allowed to visit Taiwan without any limits, provided that the individual's annual income is above around 20,000 US dollars or the individual's saving is above 6,000 US dollars. The period they can stay in Taiwan is up to 15 days and the maximum number of visitors per day is 500.
Still, financial and quantative limts remain.
