Education does not aim to fulfill a glass of water. Instead, it aims to fire a candle in the mind of each student.

The reform of education has become a beautiful topic, while the common mistake attributed to parents, teachers, and regulators has sacrificed our next generation’s youth and future.

Our parents please wake up. Stop forcing your children to pursue a higher and uniformed education. Lawyers, doctors, financial consultants are not the only answers for all young persons.

For Parents
If parent do not give up interfering their children’s choice of future career, their children would not be have courage to pursue their favorable life. Our parents please change your perception and encourage your children to pursue a life which may be plain in the eyes of the mainstream thinking but individual unique for themselves.

For Teachers
Teachers can be much braver. Trying to encourage your students to find more creative answers to the even common questions, instead of insisting those used solutions. Try to help your students to become the main players in the field of learning.

For Our Young Generation
Young people please do not always follow the mainstream thinking of the society. Please start to actively care those people and things other than your own. Try to inspire your passion towards the society and this world. Choose a route which can show your talent. Use your passion and concentration to pass through the fog of your life.

Education shall aim to become a light directing future for their students, instead of being a mirror reflecting the reproduction of the past cumulative experiences.

Higher education institutions shall go back to the essence of education.

For universities, they shall get rid of the senses that more physical constructions and higher scores from the evaluation are better. Instead, they shall both plan their core tasks on the basis of the needs and culture of the local community where they locate and attract more international resources.

For professional colleges, they shall aim to cultivate the skilled workers for our society, insist their own characteristics, and build up the professional respects.

Use Taiwan’s cultural merits as the core value of education to cultivate people who are highly sensitive to the changes of the world, in order to face challenges brought by the changing future.

Education shall be different, and both the start and the strength of the start are in your hands.
